Pool Closing Services: Ottawa's Pools Closings Experts

At HB Pools, We provide information and specialized pool closing services to thousands of Homeowners in the Ottawa region. This guide will help you navigate the process of selecting the right pool closing services and understand the best practices prior to scheduling your service.

When Should I Schedule A Pool Closing?

Much of this debate will vary depending on your personal preferences, the weather and the pool equipment at your disposal. As a guideline, we tell our clients the perfect time to close your In-Ground pool starts after the September long weekend. Always keep in mind to pre-schedule your service date between September 10th and October 20th.

How to Close Your In-Ground Pool?

Your pool winterizing process will vary depending on the equipment components and complexity of your In-ground Pool plumbing setup. Regardless, it’s really all about prevention.

You’ll need to remove water to prevent damage that could occur when it freezes. Balancing the water prior to closing and adding pool chemicals to help prevent complications from poor water chemistry. Finally, installing an anchored safety cover protects your water from the elements and may help prevent drowning accidents.
